What are we going to use your data for?

Clients:

At Hostel Nut we use your personal data, under our legitimate interest, to offer our own hospitality services.

If you book at our Hostel, your data will be used precisely to manage your reservation and your stay in the Hostel, manage check-in, check-out and billing.

In any case, we will keep the appropriate confidentiality of all the information you provide us and we will implement on your personal data the technical and organizational security measures to ensure its secrecy and prevent access to information by unauthorized third parties.

Human Resources:

Data relating to CVs will be processed for possible personnel selection processes and the recruitment of candidates.

Regarding the workers' own data, the data will be processed to manage the employment relationship (payroll, occupational risk prevention, health surveillance, training when necessary, etc.).

Web users and social networks:

If you contact us through the web or social networks, your data will be processed only to respond to your request for information. Your data will be processed in order to manage such contact, answer queries, doubts or comments that you send us through the channels provided for this purpose on our website or social networks.

Newsletter:

If you join our newsletter or give us consent to send commercial communications, we will use the email address to keep you informed of all our news, offers, etc; as well as provide you with other information that may be of interest to you.

To whom will we communicate your data?

We have a number of legal obligations that we must fulfill with respect to your information. Among them, we must provide this data when we are requested by the Tax Agency or there is a requirement.

The data relating to the Guests we will communicate them to the State Security Forces and Corps in compliance with the LO 4/2015, of March 30, Protection of Public Safety, when we are required.

In addition, and always under your consent, your data will be transferred to those public or private entities that you indicate to us to carry out any type of procedure that you ask us to manage on your behalf.

You should be aware that if you contact our team through any of the profiles on social networks that Hostel Nut makes available to users, in addition to giving us the data you provide, you will also be giving them to the entities responsible for that social network. To know the use and treatment that these entities make of your data, we advise you to read carefully the privacy policies of the social networks that you have active.

Where do we obtain your data from?

We obtain your data when:

- You make a reservation at Hostel Nut.

- You contact us through the web or social networks.

- You send us your Curriculum Vitae for possible personnel selection processes.

- You give us your consent to send commercial communications.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

We inform you that you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning you.

You may access, rectify, delete and oppose certain processing, as well as exercise your right to limit the processing, to portability and not to be subject to an individual decision based solely on automated processing.

Access your data: You have the right to access your data to know what personal data we are processing concerning you.

  • Request rectification or deletion of your data: In certain circumstances, you have the right to rectify any personal data that you consider inaccurate and that are processed by us, as well as the right to request the deletion of your data when, among other reasons, the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

  • Request the limitation of the processing of your data: In certain circumstances, you will have the right to ask us to limit the processing of your data, in which case we inform you that we will only keep the data about which you have requested limitation in the processing for the exercise or defense ofclaims.

  • To the portability of your data: In certain circumstances, you will have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as well as to have it transferred by us to another data controller.

  • Object to the processing of your data: In certain circumstances and for reasons related to your particular situation, you have the right to object to the processing of your data. In that case, we will stop processing them unless we must continue to do so for compelling legitimate reasons or for the exercise or defense of possible claims.

    In addition, you may withdraw your consent to receive commercial communications at any time.

    You have the right not to be subject to automated decisions.

    How long do we keep your data?

    Hostel Nut will keep your information while there is some kind of relationship with us, blocking the data when you cease to be our guest or customer; and deleting them once they have prescribed possible legal and extrajudicial actions that could be generated.

    However, certain information must be kept for the minimum time established in the corresponding sectorial regulations.

    This is the case of the entry log books, which must be stored for 3 years, at the disposal of the State Security Forces and Corps.

    If you contact us through the web or social networks: your data will be stored for the time necessary to respond to your request for information.

    If you send us your CV: until the end of the personnel selection process, and if necessary, up to 3 more years.

    Hostel Nut must also retain certain information based on legal requirements.

    Hostel Nut complies with the guidelines of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (RGPD), as well as the Organic Law on Data Protection and other regulations in force at all times, and ensures the correct use and processing of the user's personal data. To do this, along with each form of collection of personal data, in the services that the user may request Hostel Nut, will inform the user, in accordance with the provisions of Article 15. 1 of the GDPR, the following: (i) the purposes of the processing; (ii) the categories of personal data concerned; (iii) the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data were or will be communicated, in particular recipients in third countries or international organizations; (iv) the period of retention of personal data or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine this period; (v) the existence of the right to request from the controller the rectification or erasure of personal data or the restriction of the processing of personal data relating to the data subject, or to object to such processing; (vi) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; (vii) where the personal data have not been obtained from the data subject, any available information on their origin; (viii) the existence of automated decisions, including profiling as referred to in Article 22. 1 and 4 of the GDPR, and, at least in such cases, meaningful information about the logic applied, as well as the significance and expected consequences of such processing for the data subject.

    Hostel Nut informs that in compliance with Law 34/2002 of July 11, 2002, of Services of the Information Society will request your consent to the processing of your email for commercial purposes at all times.
